Jessica Del Vecchio
Economic Development Manager
City of Boca Raton - Office of Economic Development

With extensive experience in finance and economic development, I am a strategic thinker and problem solver who is passionate about creating and sustaining economic opportunities for the City of Boca Raton. As the first economic development manager hired by the city, I launched the Office of Economic Development in 2015.  Since then, we’ve successfully facilitated dozens of corporate relocation and expansion projects. I have a BSBA in Business Management and an MBA in Finance, both from Lynn University, where I graduated as the commencement speaker and magna cum laude, respectively.

In my current role, I leverage my finance background and government relations skills to identify, attract, and retain businesses that contribute to the city's economic growth and diversification. I work with various stakeholders, including city officials, C-level executives, business leaders, boards of directors, community organizations, and residents, to develop and implement programs and initiatives that support the city's vision and goals. Some of the notable achievements of my team include securing one of the largest corporate deals in Palm Beach County, which committed to creating over 800 new jobs in Boca Raton and developing a plan to provide grant funding to the startups in Boca's ecosystem, strengthening the reputation of the city as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.
